MY STORY

My story started when a kind-hearted couple bought a plot of land high up in Poudre Canyon. Before then, my friends and I lived in Oklahoma under challenging circumstances. Thankfully, we were rescued, and I was rehomed to Colorado! It took a great amount of love and patience to nurse me back to health. Thanks to the love and care I received at my new home, I grew stronger, gentler, and far less grumpy.  My journey inspired me to share my story of second chances and a newfound sense of belonging and peace with my community, so I decided to open Pedro's Coffee Shop—a place where people could come together, connect, and share a good cup of coffee. And so, Pedro's Coffee Shop was born—a space where everyone is treated with kindness and respect. Thank you for being a part of this journey and for making my dream a reality.

A PIECE OF LOCAL HISTORY

Our shop is a lovingly restored barn, originally built in 1920, which once served as a bustling dairy milking barn. This slice of history ties us to Timnath’s rich agricultural roots, reminding us of a time when communities thrived on togetherness and mutual support. During our renovations, we discovered pristine newspapers from the 1930s beneath the old floors. These are now framed and displayed on our walls, offering a charming glimpse into the past. As you sip your coffee, take a moment to wander through time and feel the echoes of a bygone era when community was essential for survival. Our goal is to rekindle the spirit of connection in today’s fast-paced world, providing a welcoming space to nurture relationships and find common grounds.

Sourcing the finest beans from multi-generational farmers in top coffee regions, we focus on soil, elevation, and heritage to perfect the taste. Our meticulous roasting process guarantees optimal flavor, making each sip a delightful moment to share with loved ones.
